…because these guys are Americans from Texas, U.S.A., very close to where I live, coincidentally. Everything is bigger in Texas, so the only way to go is a big honkin' American V8, since petrol is so cheap here. American petrol-heads have an age-old saying, "There's no replacement for displacement." While turbocharging smaller engines is becoming more common these days now that oil prices are rising, it's hard to beat the mountain of low-range torque right off the line that you get from large-displacement American V8's. With a 400ci (~6.6 litre) naturally-aspirated V8, there's no lag when you step on the accelerator like you would get when you have to wait for large turbochargers to spool up.

Hello, I'm from France.
I see all your videos on streetfire, youtube, that an amazing project !
Keep your camera with you and I hope you finish this car shortly !

For the motor, why did you want to put an american motor ?
If you want to commercialized, you can put a 3,5 or 3,7 liter V6 Renault (you can find it on nissan 350z, infinity, renault velsatis) and put a turbo kit !

Great job! Thanks for sharing. Would you mind telling us the software you used for the design and rendering. Those images look superb. I'm also trying to design something of my own, but I'd like to hear software suggestions before spending in software that would not do the job.

Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience with us guys. I too plan to build a car but still doing my homework. You videos really help a lot. Hopefully I can pay back the favor some day.

How are things progressing thus far?

Yeah I have disqus installed, but thought it was getting too complex to manage. Already have to login to several systems to see everything on the admin pages. Have a FaceBook connect, webstats, spam system and disqus. LOL
