OK as promised I posted the latest Time-Lapse video of working and bonding the wheel well forms to the body of the car. This one ends abruptly as my narrative at the end was chewed up and spit out by my camera. Feel free to comment and let me know what you think.

Ahh just kidding… So Windows 7, it’s a love hate thing I suppose. I spent this weekend loving how much better my computer works with windows 7 compared to Vista, but hating that my video editing software no longer worked. Therefore I spent all weekend jacking with other software and drivers and codec’s but by Sunday at 1:00am in the morning I got it all working again.
I was able to put together a new time-lapse video that covers some of the changes made to the fenders. Unfortunately my little narrative bit I put at the end of the videos got munched by my camera (was the first time that’s happened). Anyway I plan to have the video posted up tonight if all goes well.
The fenders are really starting to take shape now, it’s been a long process and the issues with headlights really caused a major slowdown as it affected so many things at once. But now it’s all good and I can move on and focus on other areas.
I will send another update out tonight when the video goes up.
Oh and make sure you post some comments on our blog, just to let us know this things is working.
Thanks,

Welcome to the official BXR Motors Blog! This is the place to be if you want to stay updated on our progress with the Bailey Blade XTR sports car.
So why a Blog?…
Well over the past two years since I started this project I have been continually updating various forums like Face Book, MySpace and several car and fabrication forums and not to mention countless emails on the progress of our car. It’s getting to be very time consuming to continue to update all of these sites. So in order to get my nightlife back I felt it was good idea to centralize all the information and updates I provide. Therefore blogging was the logical solution… (Live long and Prosper Dudes)
I suck at typing, spelling… so don’t be shocked by mi speeling or typn. OK!
First Blog….
One of the other and probably main reasons for this bog other than the previous things I mentioned already is that on here I can go into a lot more detail if need on whats going on. Face Book is one of our best sites to keep people updated but it has its limits. Now I can post Pics, Videos and I can rant on for days if needed. But don’t worry, when I make a post here it will automatically be added to face book and other places to continue to keep people informed. So I’m not cutting them out completely.
No really, this is the first Blog…
Ok so over the past few weeks I have been busy with fixing a few issues on the car, mostly to do with the symmetry around the Head Lights. (ohhhh those damn Head Lights) The head lights were the one thing I did not have CAD files on so I knew it was going to kick me in the ass later on. But with some good O’l Bubba engineering I was able to get it fixed.
Now it’s time to work on all the fenders and main body lines around the car. I needed to build forms to insert into the wheel wells and will use these to form and keep the symmetry correct for the actual wheels and tires. At the same time I have decided to increase the front track width on the car for better performance and in order to achieve this I needed to extend the fenders out a tad bit. Video of this will come soon.
So with this I will leave you with our latest video and a few images. I will try to add to this a lot more frequently now too. So Stay tuned.
